The weather is not on our side today.

We regret to announce that Soccer Camp is canceled for today, Thursday, June 20.

Due to steady rains, wet fields, and lack of indoor activity space on the day of Camp when we host our largest group of visitors, we are unable to properly run the final day of Camp/Water Day/Moms & Tots/Picnic.

We will hold the Soccer Camp Family Picnic this Sunday, June 23, at 10:30am.

Picnic food will be served in the school cafeteria.

Craft/family bags may be picked up at this time. (This applies to campers in Groups A-E).

We hope to see many of you on Sunday!

Early Bird Special: $30/camper (May 15-31)

Regular Camp Price: $40/camper (June 1-17)

How much does it cost?

What should my child bring?

Athletic shorts/shirt
Shin guards (required)
Soccer shoes (recommended but not required)
Your favorite soccer ball (make sure your name is written on it). Under age 10, size 4 is best. Extra soccer balls will be available if needed.
Water bottle (label with name)
Sunscreen before you arrive, if necessary.

A note about Thursday's water activities:

We'll have some fun with water games on Thursday! You may want to send a cinch-sack with extra sunscreen and a towel. Water games will be more like "water balloon toss" rather than "swimming pool."

Morning snacks will be provided.

How are drop-off and pick-up handled?

On the morning of the 17th, bring your child to the school entrance at Redeemer. You will need to verify your child's registration at the table. At that time your child will be escorted to their team area by one of the group leaders. Your child will remain with their group and group leader throughout the course of the day until they are picked up at noon.

You will sign your child out by proceeding to their group area and signing the child out. If someone other than a parent/guardian is picking the child up we must know about it in advance. You'll pick up your child's camp t-shirt at Monday's pick-up (Please have them wear the camp t-shirt on Tuesday for picture day). Children should be dropped off after 8:50 AM and picked up no later than 12:10 PM. Expect to receive a note each day at pick-up that gives daily highlights.

What's the weather policy?

In the event of light rainy weather, we will continue to run the camp. The camp participants are invited to keep participating as long as they are comfortable doing so. In the event of heavy rain and/or lightning and thunder we will go inside the Redeemer gym for inside drills and games, or until the weather passes and it is deemed safe to play again.

If the weather is so uncooperative (all-day downpour or lightning, thunder, etc) before the day’s camp even begins, we will cancel the day’s activities before children get dropped off. It will be announced on our website and Facebook page, if this is the case.
